SK61 60% RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
The SK61 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a remarkably feature-rich peripheral that punches well above its weight class. I spent a week testing this board, focusing on its build, switch feel, and customization capabilities to see if it stands up to daily gaming demands in 2026.
Performance & Build Quality
Constructed with durable ABS plastic, the SK61 feels sturdy and reliable for a compact unit. The IP68 waterproof rating adds an unexpected layer of durability, while the optical switches offer a responsive 100 million keystroke lifespan that feels crisp and consistent across all keys.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the keyboard was straightforward via the included USB-C cable, and the software allowed me to dial in the lighting effects exactly how I wanted them. The musical rhythm lighting adds a fun flair to the desk, and the compact 61-key layout is perfect for maintaining desk space during long gaming sessions.
This keyboard is the perfect pick for gamers and typists looking to start their mechanical keyboard journey with a budget-friendly, highly modular device.
